Do you have an article you've written that you want
read by TIBCC subscribers? Would you like to submit information
pertinent to TIBCC subscribers that you believe would be informative
to those interested in the advancements of the Bengal breed?
TIBCC seeks to publish your well-written, informative, forward
thinking articles and ideas.
Writer's Guidelines
Topics: Any subject that will interest people who are
involved with the Bengal breed of cat; pet owners, breeders,
professionals. The publication also appeals to veterinarians,
general cat enthusiasts, and those in a scientific work environment.
The topics we publish deal with forward thinking ideas in the
advancement of the breed, soul touching topics from the heart
invloving the Bengal cat and general topics of interest to feline
enthusiasts. We try to stay away from material you can find everywhere/anywhere
else.
Format: Pieces published are generally under 1,000
words in length. They will be formatted professionally (by TIBCC)
often including sub-headings, photographs and sometimes lists
of relevant tips. Supporting material and links to websites that
expand the topic are welcome. Articles focus on "need to
know" and new content. We also consider book reviews, reviews
of videos, and any other relevant Bengal content.
Editing: TIBCC reserves the right to edit your submission
for clarity, style, and format. You will not have final review
rights before your article is published. If you read through
the site and previous publications, you will find that all authors
have been well-served in this editing process.
Payment: TIBCC is not a paying market. Since philosophically,
we believe writers should be paid for content, we offer compensation
in the form of discounted advertising rates. Any writing which
is overly commercial in nature will not be published. All authors
receive a brief biographical sketch that includes your cattery/business
name and or links to your website. This is published with your
article.
Author Rights: If you are submitting a potential feature
article, we request exclusive worldwide rights to publish the
article via TIBCC publications for ninety days (one publishing
quarter). TIBCC, retains non-exclusive rights to archive your
article on the site, further use it for subsequent publications
and all other rights as stated in the disclaimer below, which
you must submit to be published. At no point do you lose your
rights to your work.
If you have written an article that you feel is perfect for
a TIBCC publication and it has been published elsewhere online,
please email the Editor.
If the article has not been overly published within the Bengal
cat community, your piece might still merit consideration for
publication with TIBCC.
Submission: Use this form to submit content and material
for consideration or follow the email instructions below the
form. If you do not hear from TIBCC within five working days,
please send email to the Article
Coordinator of TIBCC to make sure your submission was received.
